4th of July Firework Displays in Albuquerque | Albuquerque Moms Network

Freedom 4th at Balloon Fiesta Park:

One of the largest celebrations in New Mexico will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park. The event will include a fireworks show, food, and activities for children.

This is a pre-ticketed event at $20 per vehicle for a maximum of 3,500 vehicles. Vehicles will be parked in Balloon Fiesta Park parking lots and spectators will be allowed access to the 43 acres of the North Launch Field. 

Gates will open at 6:00 PM for the 9:15 fireworks shoot.

Isotopes Park: 

The team will take on the El Paso Chihuahuas on July 4th. There will be a special fireworks show after the game. The game begins at 6:35 p.m.

Gates for the game open early at 5 pm. 

Firework Displays in the MetroParks: 

The city of Albuquerque will be launching fireworks shows at the following parks listed below at 9:15 p.m. Although the parks themselves will be closed and spectators are not allowed at the parks, people can enjoy the fireworks from the comfort of their own homes.

  • North Domingo Baca Park
  • Expo New Mexico
  • Tom Tenorio Park

Please note that the above parks themselves will be closed and spectators are not allowed to gather in the parks or along the roads nearby.

  • Ladera Golf Course

All city MetroPark Displays launch at 9:15 pm

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, most shows were canceled in 2020 and many communities this year have yet to announce their plans, while some have canceled their firework shows altogether.
