Meow Wolf’s House of Eternal Return is an explorable art experience for all ages. This is Meow Wolf’s first art experience and was launched in Santa Fe, New Mexico, about an hour’s drive north of Albuquerque. Meow Wolf recently launched its second venue, Omega Mart, featuring jaw-dropping work from international and local artists in Las Vegas, NV in February 2021. According to their website, Meow Wolf will open its third storytelling experience in Denver, CO later this year.
On a personal note, I remember picking up my then 3-year-old son from school and two other carpool boys who were at the time 12 and 15 years old. I had two hours to kill before dropping the older boys off. What could I do to entertain three boys, all very different ages for two hours? Of course, Meow Wolf! The four of us took a walk around to experience Meow Wolf together. We all got off our phones/devices, had a great time, and actually got to know each other!
If you are looking for a good day trip, maybe a place out of the sun and a nice venue to cool off, Meow Wolf is a great place to go with the entire family. A short distance from Albuquerque, it is worth the drive and I guarantee you will provoke interesting conversations amongst the family.
